Disney’s Finding Nemo JR

Explore the big blue world with this lively new stage musical based on the beloved Pixar film!

Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure.

Our Mission

Through acting, music, dance, and other arts disciplines, SAY Theater seeks to provide young people ages 3-18 with high quality educational, performance, and technical theater opportunities.

Theater for All Performances

At a Theater for All performance, the work is presented at the same high quality as always, with slight adjustments to the light and sound levels to create a more sensory-friendly environment. These performances are a “shush-free” zone where patrons are free to talk and leave their seats throughout the performance. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own fidgets and communications devices with them to their seats.

Most of all, a Theater for All performance is a judgment-free environment, where everyone is welcome to enjoy the performance in whatever way makes the experience work for them.

Adjustments to the Show
  • Reduction of jarring sounds.
  • Reduction of strobe lights and spotlights that shine into the audience.
  • House lights are dimmed, but remain on during the performance.
  • Audience members are welcome to stand up and move about the auditorium.
  • Designated quiet and activity in the lobby.
Wheelchair Seating & Listening Devices
  • The Forest Roberts Theatre seats up to 515 patrons, including wheelchair seating.
  • Digital infrared hearing devices are available free of charge at every performance for patrons who are hearing impaired. They can be obtained from the house manager or box office staff.
